My name is Kiran Dosanjh. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and I want to support you on your journey towards wellness.
Life is a journey of ups and downs and, sometimes we may feel stuck and hopeless. Sometimes we just need someone to listen, support, and guide us in life. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, stress, or the demands of everyday life, parenting, or grieving the loss of a loved one; I can be there to support you and help you navigate through this difficult time of your life.
Over the past five years I have worked as a high school counsellor, ICBC and grief and loss counsellor. I offer counselling services in English, Punjabi, and Hindi. I use CBT and a person-centered approach, and work on supporting my clients through a therapeutic relationship built on trust, acceptance safety, and empathy.
In my practice I seek to create a warm and safe environment for my clients, I believe that each individual has the capacity to grow and meet their goals regardless of their past experiences. Everyone needs to be heard, supported and understood in order to move forward in life. I work hard to meet my clients where they are on their life’s journey.
The first step would be to contact me to arrange for a brief telephone assessment to discuss the goals of therapy, ask any questions you may wish to clarify, and to get a better sense of which counsellor would best suit your needs. Once that is established, the counsellor would set up the first meeting.
Kiran: Monday-Friday (flexible evening hours), available on Saturday and Sunday
