Hello, I’m Charlene Forbes, a counselor, health coach, and yoga instructor with a deep passion for holistic mental health. My approach is centered around a client-focused, holistic method designed to help individuals navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and uncertainties. I specialize in supporting people dealing with anxiety, self-esteem struggles, and various mental health issues, including depression, while offering sustainable strategies for living a peaceful, balanced life.
I work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, youth, and couples, addressing areas such as anxiety, depression, grief, emotional empowerment, nutrition, and stress management. With a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and registration with BCACC, I bring a holistic, mindfulness-based perspective, always considering how life circumstances impact one’s overall well-being.
My practice also focuses on helping clients manage sociocultural pressures, family dynamics, and past traumas that contribute to mental health challenges. I offer pre-marital and relationship counseling, where I emphasize the importance of emotional safety and effective communication to foster lasting and meaningful relationships.
In essence, my work spans emotional regulation, mindfulness, yoga-based practices, and health and wellness coaching. I’m dedicated to helping individuals achieve a fulfilled, content life by addressing both their mental and physical well-being with personalized, sustainable approaches.
