FAMILY MEDIATION

Family conflicts and separations can be incredibly challenging and emotionally taxing. At Surrey Delta Family Counselling, we offer family mediation services to help families navigate disputes and transitions in a constructive and respectful manner. Our goal is to facilitate positive outcomes and support family members through difficult times.

What is Family Mediation?

Family mediation is a structured process where a neutral third party helps family members communicate more effectively, resolve conflicts, and reach mutually agreeable solutions. This service is particularly valuable for families going through separation, divorce, or other significant changes that impact family dynamics.

Our Approach

Our approach to couples counselling is tailored to meet the unique needs of each relationship. Led by Angela Pallan and her team of experienced counsellors, including Elnaz, Kiran, and Yoshi, we focus on:

  • Neutral Facilitation: As neutral facilitators, we help guide discussions, ensuring all voices are heard and respected.
  • Conflict Resolution: We assist in identifying the root causes of conflicts and developing practical strategies to address them.
  • Communication Enhancement: We teach effective communication techniques to improve understanding and reduce misunderstandings.
  • Agreement Development: We help families draft agreements that reflect the needs and wishes of all parties involved, promoting long-term harmony.
  • Emotional Support: We provide emotional support throughout the mediation process, helping family members cope with the stress and emotions involved.
